Great food and drinks! We came on a Thursday night and tried their happy hour drinks and food. Their fish and shrimp tacos were great. The patio seating is the best.
Delicious food every time. Can't go wrong here, love the ambience and option to eat inside or outside. Service is always on point as well.
We had an amazing dinner last night! The wings are unbelievable with a perfect crispy outside (we got lemon pepper) and a juicy inside with lots of meat. These chicken wings are BIG! The Chimichurri steak sandwich is amazing and there was a lot of salad on the side - yum! The BK burger my husband ordered was also great-tasting! Finally, for dessert, we ordered the fresh strawberry cream mochi cake... delicious!! The staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was just right! Even though we don't live close by, we'll be back again for sure!
If you're looking for a laid back spot in sgv I would say this is probably the place. We came here on a Friday night, sat at the patio and enjoyed our dinner and drinks outdoors. As we were sitting at the patio, we noticed a table was celebrating a birthday and brought some crops to decorate the table, which was neat. The service was good as well. After we ordered our food and drinks, they would come back to follow up if we needed anything else. Food ordered : - Cajun shrimp po boy (comes with salad or fries) Super flavorful and crunchy. - Tuna Melt (comes with salad or fries) This was WORTH to order even if you think you can just make this at home. The portion is definitely enough to share with two people. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a chill place to catch up with friends or if had a long day from work, quick dinner and a drink solo
Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. They El Segundo mulberry IPA on tap and between the appetizers, beer and my tuna melt. I was stuffed
Round Two! TWO FOR TWO! The consistency of the service is TOP NOTCH! Enjoyed my crisp pizza beer, Ice latte, mushroom grilled cheese again. Banger! The place is ready FOR THE NEXT LEVEL! MANAGER LISTEN UP! DJ in the back playing the jams! Event coordinators hit this place up for beer tastings, tequila night, date night, dance space, farmers market. You name it. You got the space. Hmu if u want me to promote an event here Like arts and crafts, paint and sip, trivia night. Lesss goo!!
What's up: It's time for our Happy Hour get together! This time around, we picked this place because I saw that their Happy Hour menu had Soju Jello Shots! Call us intrigued :) Parking: Not great. They have a handful of spots in the back where you have to access through the alley. And there are a few spots up front on the busy S Garfield Ave. When those get filled, you're gonna have to park a bit farther on the nearby streets. Environment: There is indoor and outdoor seating available. Outdoor seating has several patio options. We originally sat outside but opted to go in when the flies started getting to us. Staff members were friendly but became sparse towards the end. What was ordered: - HH Soju Jello Shot (strawberry is definitely the best among the pineapple and blue raspberry flavors) - HH Lemon Pepper Shrimp Chips (tangy and yummy) - HH Spicy Garlic Tofu Bites (tasty with the slightly spicy and tangy dipping sauce) - HH Cheeseburger Quesadilla (yummy hamburger taste and super cheesy) - Pizzaport CA Honey (crisp and refreshing) Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. The food was pretty good and the Soju Jello Shots definitely were delicious. Credit cards are accepted.
OVERALL: great service, kind staff, good menu FOOD: I had the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Nothing fancy but it was good. SERVICE: waiter were super kind and attentive. Maybe a bit too attentive lol sometimes we had people come back to back to check on us and I felt they wanted us to leave lol VENUE: huge outdoor space with lots of seating options. Loved it!
Had this Monterey Park gastropub bookmarked forever and finally got around to going. Glad I did, as the food was pretty darn good. Located near the 60 freeway on Garfield, parking is fairly easy to find on the street. It's a hip little burger and brew joint that has very friendly service. The menu is not huge. It's basically a few burger and sandwich items. They have seating inside, but the inside is not huge and keep in mind the music playing (a blend of euro house and indie hip-hop) can be loud. They do have a rather large outdoor patio attached to the side, where many people chose to sit. On to the food and drink. They offer a good variety of brews on tap from various microbreweries, as well as some wines and soju cocktails. For food we got the fish and chips, the BKB burger (a bacon, cheese burger), and the steak chimichurri sandwich. All three were great. I would say the stand out was the burger, though the other 2 dishes were really quite good. Their flavor combos are kind of original without going bonkers. I'm sure there are other things we'd go back and try like the fish burger (a high end fish filet) and the hot chicken sandwich. All in all, this is a reasonably priced, good eating gastropub. I recommend you give it a try. I know I'll be back.
